Hi! I’m Henry! Since 2015 I  started to explore legit ways to earn income online.  I have been testing different sites that promise  payments to those who work on them and exploring eBusiness opportunities.

There are too many SCAMS on the Internet

I must say that on the Internet, there are more SCAMS than LEGIT sites. So when you are looking forward to investing time and/or money online, you must be careful. I have worked on a considerable number of sites and I would love to share my experience with you. I have come across good sites, and not so good ones. I could help you shed light on the main features you must look out for when you’re trying to distinguish if a site is LEGIT or SCAM.

A recent experience

At work, my boss is about 20 years older than me. A few days ago another employee that has a similar position as my boss text him: “Here is a link to a site where you can earn some dollars fast”.

The person that sent the link has reputation of being a tech guy. And my boss immediately clicked the link and registered at the site where the link took him.

Then my boss sent me the link, and also sent it to other co-workers in the group.

A day later my boss came up to me and asked: “Did you click the link? What do you think about it?”

I told him it did not look LEGIT and I had not joined. The site was giving a bonus of 25 USD to every person that joined and it payed 5 USD if you made others join the site and register under your affiliate link.

My boss told me, “I just need 3 more persons to register under my link, because I have completed 285 USD and the cash out threshold is of 300 USD.

I told him I didn’t trust the site because it had no service to offer, and the amount of 5 USD to register to a site that had no services was a bit strange.

“I must tell you this Sir. If this site doesn’t have any business model in place, where will it make money to pay you to bring people to the site?” I told my boss.

To what he answered “You never know! Besides, Mr. So and So sent me the link and he knows a lot about these things”.

“It has SCAM written all over it! I’ll join because you’re the one that’s asking me and I see the information that they require is pretty basic. I’ll register as John Jones”, I told him.

I used a dummy email and filed the other blank spaces with dummy content. I also took him over to PayPal, because the site said it payed through PayPal and he hadn’t open an account yet. He then opened his PayPal account. And in the meanwhile he reached and even exceeded the cash out threshold. He was so excited about his 305 USD that he had “earned”. So we then proceeded with the cash out. We completed the steps to withdraw 305 USD to the PayPal account. And the site took us to another page totally unrelated. We went through the same steps again, and when we clicked Cash out, it took us again to the same unrelated site. It started to become obvious that the site had proven to be what it had been shouting back at us from the begging. My boss was quite discouraged but said thank you for helping him go through all the process. He then called the “tech guy” that had sent him the link and the guy told him he had  discovered it was a SCAM.

This type of story is quite common among those that want to start earning some revenue on the Internet. If you have had a similar story and want to share it with us you could drop a comment in the box below.

Here on this site I’ll be sharing my own experience on diverse sites. I’ll only recommend those sites that I have personally used and obtained good results and constitute good opportunities.

Exploring online business opportunities

I’m going to be honest with you, earning online is not easy. And when you find LEGIT sites, they may pay what they promise but it’s not very much. I have used those sites and earned quite a few bucks. But I’d also like to introduce you to real business opportunities online. If you want to work online and earn some change money, I’ll take you to those sites. You will not be deceived, they pay little but they pay. If you want to explore business opportunities, I could also point you out quite a few. With them, you will have to work a lot at the beginning without seeing results, but once you get established, the earnings become recurrent and a flow of passive  income will monthly come your way. It depends on what you want.

People don’t deserved to be scammed, however nobody is forcing anyone to pay money for these scams. People are willingly giving money to these scams so it’s important to do research before just handing over money for any product or service making a promise. I personally almost have been scammed by a company named Amway, but luckily I did enough research to know what I was getting into.

Hey, Aaron. Yes, reserching is very importante. Nobody should trust promises made by any online business just from the beginning. It’s sad to say that, but it’s true. There are a lot of reviews online, we must read them first. If the site has a free membership, this adds trust to the platform and allows anybody to get a first hand experience With it. Thank you very much for your comment and for sharing your experience with us. It’s great to know you could research and didn’t fall in their trap. All the best!
